Sunset Hills Automotive was founded in 2002 by two working mechanics, Robert and Willard, who believed you deserve straight answers and honest work — not upsells and corporate quotas. Over two decades later, that’s still exactly how we operate.

We’re not a franchise. We’re not backed by private equity. No distant board of directors, no quarterly profit targets dictating how we treat you. Sunset Hills is owned by the same people who built it from the ground up — local mechanics with a reputation to protect right here in Northern Virginia.
We’ve grown from one shop to three locations, but we haven’t changed the thing that matters most: every customer is treated with dignity and respect. Every estimate is honest. Every recommendation is something we’d give a family member.
